Google is celebrating the eighth edition of the Women’s World Cup with a series of Doodles by guest artists, representing each of the competing countries to capture the local excitement of the competition. This was my contribution representing local support for the New Zealand team - the Football Ferns.

I created portraits of paleontologist Joan Wiffen, choreographer Parris Goebel, swimmer Sophie Pascoe, politician Elizabeth McCombs, leader Huria Matenga and Green Party MP Mojo Mathers.
Polhill Protectors is a community dedicated to trapping pests, planting trees and advocating for endangered native wildlife in Wellington's Town Belt. The community brand is collaborative and ever-evolving, featuring a mix of different artists and aesthetics.
I illustrated their welcome banner and customised the local playground to create two different educational games for local families.
‘Predator Free Kick’
A soccer practice wall. Gain points for hitting harmful introduced pests such as possums and stoats, lose points for hitting native birds and their nests.
‘Birds of Polhill’
Tic-tac-toe, with the blank squares depicting endangered bird species who live in the wider Polhill area.

Predator Free 2050
New Zealand has set the ambitious goal of removing possums, rats and stoats by 2050 to protect our vulnerable native species. This video, animated by National Park Studios, introduces the problem and what's being done. I designed and created the illustrated assets, which were supplied as layered workable files.
